Armavia protests against high prices of Zvartnots airport

The Armavia Airlines suspended flights for an hour in the morning of March 16, protesting against the high prices of Zvartnots International Airport.
Armavia report said that Zvartnots airport services are three times more expensive than those of Moscow airports and on average twice more expensive than Europe airports services.
Nevertheless, against the high prices, Zvartnots took tough measures suspending the flights for Armavia Airlines, the report read.
“According to international practice, current debt is to be paid off next month. Armavia has reduced the debt by 20 percent, nevertheless, Zvartnots demands an immediate payoff,” Armavia reported.
According to our information, Armavia has resumed flights.
